To obtain natural gas service, GMG’s Builder Activation Form must be completed.  As a builder and/or developer, you may choose to:

1) complete the form along with the sketch of the desired location of the requested natural gas service yourself, and return the form to GMG via fax, email or postal mail.

2) request to have a Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., representative meet you at the location of the requested natural gas service and complete the form and sketch with their assistance.

There is no fee for having a GMG representative present at the location of the requested natural gas service to assist in completing the form.  Furthermore, Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., encourages you to contact GMG if you have any uncertainties regarding the form or sketch, as a GMG representative will make sure that the necessary information is obtained, and thereby, ensure prompt service.     

If you choose to complete the form yourself, please: 
- Denote desired installation date on top of the Builder Activation Form.
- Ensure that the location of meter is within six inches of final grade.
- Upon completion, return pages 1-4 to Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., via fax, email or postal mail.

To obtain these rebates, you must complete a 2008 Residential Heating System Rebate Form and attach a copy of an invoice verifying the installation of the appliance(s). Upon completion, please return form with attached requested information via fax or postal mail.  Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., issues rebates in the form of a credit on your Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., natural gas bill.
